Hey cubers

I'm getting use to the fridrich F2L but i start having a huge problem inserting the last pair without any difficulty.

Will this be something to do with the way i solve it or do i have to learn the F2L algs to get around this problem, i really dont want to do this because i'm bloating my head full of the OLL algs and dont wanna take up space >.<

Well if it is only the last slot, look over the algorithms just to get a sense of what they are.

Thanks for the link ill give it a whirl.

Its just the last pair i have trouble with because hiding the corner or the edge becomes a pain and i cant get my head around it.

I know exactly where you are coming from; I have been learning F2l for the past three weeks and hiding and forming pairs is a part I struggled with for a day or two.
Are you stuck when you need to form and insert the last pair but find they are stuck together? If so you will almost definitely find some special case algorithms helpful although you don't have to learn them.
I found BadMePhisto's F2l videos to be the most helpful, watch both of them; even if it does say 'advanced'. He says to hide either on the left or right which is what I got confused with, although it depends on which case you have (1,2 or 3) in BadMePhisto's Videos you should experiment, complete three pairs and find out what happens when you hide, or pretend to hide, whatever pair you are forming. Try this, If you have the empty slot on your right then you should see which pieces are hidden when you either do an R move or an F', the empty slot should appear on the top layer thus not disturbing any complete and placed pairs.
Although this is a cliché you should practise, experiment and learn. It's exactly what I have done and will continue to do.

I hope this helped, even just a tiny bit. :) Also Liverpool FTW!!
