With the caveat that I have zero experience in FMC, bigBLD, MBLD, or clock, my least favorite event is probably pyraminx. I don't like how the tips are completely independent from the rest of the turning mechanism. That being said, it's still a twisty puzzle, and twisty puzzles are fun. And I wouldn't advocate for the removal of any event, to be honest.

I personally really dislike pyraminx. There’s not much info out there about it, at least, not that I’ve found, and it’s just too easy to learn for my liking.

Yes, I hate the tips. I waste a lot of time on them.

It’s much easier to solve if you remove the tips

I have never tried skewb… but seeing it seems super easy to learn, I think I wouldn’t like it. Still better than pyra though

To everyone saying pyra sucks because of tips, I think solving all the tips at the start of the solve simultaneously is a great way of alleviating that problem, as you spend a small amount of time solving tips and if you do the finger tricks correct you don't have to worry about +2 and DNF's.

Pyra is one of my favorites events and i just know l3e =P

For the tips it's just a skill problem. You have to know the best moment to solve each tip and the best fingertricks for example you can hold one tip and do a type of slice move

Try the non wca pyraminx that has no tips, like this

For me pyra fingertricks are so much easier to learn than skewb...
