Whoaaaa, people on Facebook are saying he just got a 4.96. I guess it was in finals?

First person with more than one official sub-5s!

EDIT: It's up! He got a 7.10 PB average too, but only PB by 0.01.
That's incredible impressive to not only do it once, but twice! And the WR had great tps, so you can't say it was an exceptionally lucky solve either. Has anyone in recent times improved their PB single by this much that was already sub 6? That's a 0.68 second improvement!

Blake Thompson: 5.89-4.86=1.03
Lucas Etter: 5.85-4.90=0.95
Drew Brads: 5.5-4.76=0.74

Very impressive. Good for him that he managed to learn color neutrality. I was wondering who will get 10th sub5, but damn.. I would have never guess that it would be Patrick again.

I heard he has ~6.3 ao100, which is so close to UWR (6.14 by Feliks). He'll definitely go for low-mid 6s average this year :D

Amazing job, Patrick! What's wierd is he did a U, U' U' so the solve could've been even faster! Amazing job!

I was watched this live. During the second round I decided to watch my friend Liam Chen (who was sitting right next to Patrick) do 3x3 and saw Patrick sitting down to solve and thought to myself... Hmm it would be funny if he got a world record, the moment that he sat down. Something that surprised me was his tips and how long it took for people to start cheering. That poor judge lol.
