so basically I podiumed in 3BLD (second place) and 2x2 (first place) at my last comp which finished yesterday

I am still in shock, that my first podium in a comp is done 2 times! I won 2 giftcards, 3 certificates, 2 cubes (unboxing and review coming soon) and a trophy which is pretty cool

but now, the road the square-1 NR has officially begun!
 
I have decided I will make a rough google sheet for all the cubeshape cases which I usually forget how to solve. I wont really put the alg in sq-1 notation, but I'll just write into which base case it reduces into

I have gone through cube master tutorial quite a lot of times now, and I do forget some cases, so that's what i'm doing now
I'm also going through the angles at the time of learning/revising the cases, and I will work on mirrors as well
hopefully I finish with this by the end of the month
 
since my sq-1's core has broken twice, I've started to practice 3x3 a bit more
i learned edge and corner back deduction and also a but more slow turning
hope to be sub-12 by the end of february (that's a bit late, i know, but i have final exams in feb so yea)

also i have finished full cubeshape for squan, so my strategy for going through all the angles and mirrors is this:
since there are 90 cases, I will pick minimum 3 cases every day, go through its mirrors and angles
this will help me finish in maximum 30 days (if I do 3 everyday which I probably won't since I can do more than 3 if there are easy cases which I already know like scallop kite etc)
 
Memorizing angles for every cubeshape case is getting a bit frustrating, as I don't always know if it's good to do an Alg from a different angle and I usually forget the case (i know how to reduce it, but i just can't do it fast because of the problem i mentioned)

So anyone got tips for this? I really need to finish full cubeshape

wow, it has been a long time since I posted anything on this thread
so basically my annual exams were going on so I decided to be inactive on the forums, but you may have seen a few posts in the last few days, and now my exams are over

A lot has happened since then so here's that -

ever since my old square-1's core broke, I bought a new one and i have set it up
as for 3x3, i have improved a bit and now i average around 10-12 and get quite a bit of sub-10's in 1 session

also a new comp is coming up for which i have already registered: comp
it only has 2x2, 3x3, 3x3 oh and 4x4 though, so I have started grinding these events

now lastly my square-1 progress, I have gotten a bit demotivated because even after knowing almost full CS (almost because i sometimes forget what to do for some cases), I just can't remember how to solve every single CS case with ALL ANGLES. I'm not saying I don't know how to solve it, but I can't get it into muscle memory that I see this case, and I know what to do as I know for all 90 (i guess it's 90) cases from 1 angle. I do know for a few like the base cases, but that is just what brings the demotivation, so any tips would be appreciated.

Overall I will be more active on the forums now and also on my Youtube channel
