As the core of my GAN 365i is broken, and as I don't get the spare parts needed to repair it, I installed an old MoYu Weilong GTS core with the GAN parts.

On my first attempt the cube I got was very soft, but I had lost all the corner cut. The problem was that the springs in the GAN and MoYu cubes operate in opposite directions. So I adapted some springs where the GAN GES system should be, and the movement of the cube improved a lot. It took me a long time to adjust the tension screws to have the same feeling as the original GAN cube, but surprisingly I got it.

I've attached some pictures of the result.

I don't have the Bluetooth functionality, but I can continue practicing with the same feeling.

That good to see! Did you glue the washers?
Nice, but that cube is really dirty, you should wipe it.
Yea, it looks like my overlubed thunderclap

You must have a good camera be sure I feel like I can see every speck of dust in the core picture. Also the colors look really good and very saturated.

You can get very similar results with a phone camera, and notice hownthe last photo has a purple-ish background, so maybe he did some color grading? @GRVigo Correct me if I'm wrong please

I take the pictures with a Pentax K500 reflex camera and a 90 mm Tamron macro lens. This 30-years-old manual lens has a very high quality, with a fantastic sharpness, but sensor reflections, in some conditions, causes the purple spot that rubik2005 has appreciated.

The pictures are as I took them with the camera, I just cut and reduced so they don't weigh too much.

Ewwww the cube looks dirty. Use a dry cloth to wipe the internal surface are of the cube, and then do the normal lubing process.

The use of front flash highlights the dirt a lot. If you appreciate the pieces with the naked eye it does not look so dirty, although many of this dirt are defects caused by using an inadequate lubricant (do not use spray oil, the propellent damages the plastic! I learned it by the hard way).

Oh! Suena como una buena camara. A lo mejor puedes corregir el color purpura con un programa para editar fotos, pero obviamente esto no es algo profesional.

The camera is fine, but it's low-end. The camera isn't really that important, you can get the same result with a mobile, but you need photography knowledge and spend a lot of time practicing, just like with the cube!

Slightly changing the angle of the camera the purple spot would not have appeared, but when I took out the photo I did not take it into account.

[Perdona que te responda en inglés, lo tengo algo oxidado y necesito practicar. :)]

Ok, makes sense! I'm trying to start some cubeography, and I even made my own Lego electric turner. Photography and video production has caught my interest lately, and it's just fun to learn and get creative[My bad! Yea, practice is always good, and even watching videos helps out a lot. I'm fluid in English and Spanish, so I might be able to answer any questions you have]

Está bien, mi español también necesita practicar.
Also now I can say I used spanish in conversation today and (hopefully) typed the accents correctly.
You speak Spanish too, or are you just learning? The only thing I would criticize from the sentence is the last word. If you mean to say "My spanish needs practice," you say "My español necesita práctica."
