My 6×6 Journey – Chasing the sub - 2 dream

Yo Guys!

As u can see my thread title is chasing the Sub- 3 dream. And sub 3 barrier I have already crossed.

So lets change my goal to sub 2:30.

Guys is it even possible for me to go under 2 min 30 sec, i am a 2 look cfop user with basic f2l paring and a Redux user.

I dont even know the advance last 2 edges algorithms.

Even if i get the magnetic cube is it even possible to dive sub 2:30 ?

Yes you can! My long standing record of 2:31.20 was Redux! But I switched to Yau and got 2:29.03 but my point is, Redux is still effecient!
What cube do you use?
If you buy a magnetic cube, @mdcuber9 recommended me the Warrior 6. I love it and it is my 2nd best event now!

I am literally confused bro which 6 by 6 i should consider.

Maelong 6 by 6 v2
Mgc
Qiyi warrior

I am confused in these 3

Main thing i need is stability, magnetic strength is not a big concern for me, i mastered non magnetic.

My current cube lacks the stability.

Among these 3 cubes which cube is the most stable?

Warrior comes with double tracks (or even the magnetic core for triple track!) I recommend that the most! Meilong is ok, but lacks stability

Nice, and what about mgc heard a lot about that.
I never had MGC
When you are looking for magnetic big cubes, how many magnetic tracks there are is something you should really consider. If you want raw speed with an unhinged feel, go for single track. If you want something with more control but still has raw power, go for double track. If you want complete control and ultimate stability go for triple track. However, the more tracks they have, the more expensive they get. Triple tracks are the most expensive and it seems like only the elite can afford them. Double track is probably best for you

Ohhhhh, got it bro, let me search about warrior and their prizes then i will let u know, thanks for the help🤘

Bro in warrior 6 by 6 in site track is not mentioned, plz check these are the cubes right?

I have the second one and it is awesome! But the first one has a core and one outer layer magnet set. It is double track, so I recommend looking on the Cubicle or Speed Cube Shop to see more options

Thanks bro, for my price point i can go for first one, first one is a double track right?
Yes, it is double track! The difference between the two, seeing they both are double track, is where the magnets are placed. The one you want (magnetic core) has the core itself and outer layer magnets. It should feel stable without the stronger magnetic feel. The one I have, (the second option) does not have the core magnets, but an inner shell magnet set. It gives the outer layer magnets a stronger feel, but without the core, the corners are slightly less stable (hardly if at all noticeable) I imagine they are equal in value, but seeing you are switching to magnetic cubes for your first time, the core is better I think!

Hi guys!

Today my new magnetic 6 by 6 arrived.

Unboxing video-

I have done couple of solves and the cube is very very stable.

Already i have broken my previous record.

For the video your solve was about 3:27
It was good!
After solving your first two centers, make it a habit to use only x(') moves instead of y(') and z(') moves.
And try working on your double flicks!
It is awesome bro! Keep up the good work!!!!!😍
