Most Insightful/Interesting Reconstructions (or Example Solves)?

Did you learn a new technique from studying a reconstruction of some WR solve? Did you ever followed a reconstruction and found a particularly nice alg? Did you see an example solve that just made a whole concept click? Were you ever amazed by an especially elegant solve?

I'd like to hear what you've learned from other people's solves! I think it would be nice to share what and how can we learn from others.

I learnt an OLL alg (the not-6-move P shape one) while reconstructing one of Feliks's solves, haha. It wasn't a special/fancy alg or anything; I just hadn't bothered to learn a not crappy alg for that case until then.
