Making my cube faster

What i do with type a cubes (i don't have rubik's, only a Japanese speedcubing kit) is insert each screw into the core without the center piece. This way i can see better if the screw is straightly inserted. I insert the screw a little bit just to make sure it is stable and straight. Then i use an electric screwdriver to finish it.
After that i unscrew each one and screw it back with the center piece. I assembled 3 cubes with this way and all 3 are really nice! But that's my personal opinion of course.

If its a rubiks brand do as follows:
1: "accidentally" drop the cube in sand
2: solve it 10 - 20 times ( the more you solve it the looser)
3: Clean throughly (all the pieces at once in soap and water, then clean each individually, dry clean the center mechanism)
4: Lubricate
5: Reassemble
6: Enjoy your looser cube!

This method actually helped with my Rubiks Cube Brand. Except I didn't lubricate it. What I did is I just put the cube on top of the sand and get a handful of sand and lay it on top. At first, it will be super hard to turn, but I just kept turning it rapidly. Then the next day after turning it a lot, I took it apart washed each piece and air dried it. The results were great. It was much better than before I put sand in it, and it has a smooth but scratchy feel to it.

Woah, 7-year bump! NEW WORLD RECORD!
