This is pretty interesting, I was surprised how close the ideal it gave was to my actual times in most events!
My 3x3 average: 8.46
2x2, ideal (1.78) matches exactly with my actual 2x2 average
6x6 ideal was 2:00.51 and my actual is 2:00.62
OH ideal was 15.06, actual is 15.38
Square-1 ideal was 8.74 and actual is 8.61

Although these are probably a bit different now because like half of the WRs aren't up to date lol.

The Ideal Average Calculator is based on a comment that J Perm made under one of his videos a few years ago, with the theory that the ratio between your times on a NxN, and your times on any other NxN, should be more or less the same as the ratio between the world records for the same cubes. That's assuming you put in a similar amount of time, effort, and practice, on each of those cubes.
Someone on Reddit saw the comment and made a spreadsheet to calculate it. Someone else turned it into that website.

That site was last updated about 8 months ago, in August. (based on discussion I had on Reddit at that time with the site's author).
True, the world records have changed. But the ratios between the world records don't change that much, because [almost] all the world records change at a similar rate. The ratios using current world records are almost the same as they were 8 months ago, and which weren't that much different than from the previous site update almost 3 years ago.

There used to be a website over 10 years ago, you put in any of your PBs and it calculated how low/high your PBs of other Events are.
Edit: This site seems to do the same.

While this is cool, it has a major flaw that is using WRs as ratios. Most WRs are held by people who mostly practice that event and don't have WR averages in other events. For this reason I feel like it would make more sense to use median averages rather than WR averages.
True, but if every WR average is held by a person maining that event, then it's a constant. Meaning a Person allrounding all Events evenly would, in theory, would have the same ratio for all events.
