I have accessed speedsolving from everywhere in Asia, Oceania and Europe and IF there is a fast connection then speedsolving is fast as well. But if there is a slow connection speedsolving can take a long time to load. I guess that means that the backend of speedsolving (database) is fast enough (for reading), but that the amount of data send is quite high. Especially all the "external webdata" can cause a lot of lag if the DNS is slow
The big problem is posting comments. I usually open about 10 tabs for speedsolving and while I am "Quick Replying" to one I often switch to another one before the post is finished....posting. The result is almost always that the post will be posted 2 times (of course I will remove 1 ASAP). If I don't use multiple tabs this doesn't happen, so I am not sure if this is a (javascript) error on speedsolving or a browser bug (using Google Chrome on Windows 7)
And sometimes I open several tabs and they just open on the first post of the last page (I have 40 posts per page configured, so for example post 121 on page 4). It SHOULD always jump to "first unread" (for example 153 on page 4). This behavior is unpredictable but consistent. Either all tabs will open on the first post of the last page, or all tabs will jump correctly to "first unread"
