I am currently stuck at around 13 seconds. I know full pll and almost full oll. (Like 5 algs away)

Yup.I think he is saying that if you can already look ahead then working on looking ahead while you are spinning faster will help you do it in a fast solve.
How will spamming TPS improve lookahead?? Slow solves do that, not fast tps..
I am like 16 away on OLL and going to learn them this weekend. You might as well finish your five since it'll only take a day or two. I know that I am only sub 16, but these tips should help. Go through all your OLLs and PLLs and maie sure most if not all of them are sub 2 (Or sub 3 depending how fast you are. Look up how people solve each F2L case and make sure that you solve each case efficiently. Spam TPS which will improve your look ahead. If you're not already be opposite cross neutral. Maybe try another event for a while and come back to 3x3.
I now full oll but I still am not sub 13
Speed is not about just knowing many algorithms, it's about execution. Just turning as fast as I can with the "sexy move" algorithm I get around 10-11 turns per second. On Some of Feliks' solves he gets over that as well as solving the cube (not just random movement of the cube). That is why I never have a goal to break a world record, or even beat the current record I have. I'm just having fun while solving, and enjoying the process of learning new ways to do it.
The other day I was watching a vid by Cubeologist where he timed himself the sexy move 6 times (until cube is fixed again) with two cubes (I don't remember which ones, maybe the 356 and hualong, it doesn't matter now). And I thought: "maybe this is one of the reasons I can barely break sub-20, I cannot do that so fast". He was doing 1.7 seconds (counting the time it takes to stop the timer, so let's say 1.5 seconds. That's aroung 16 TPS. If somebody could solve a cube at that TPS it would be like a full-step 54-move solve in less than 3.5 seconds.
For me, even after a very good cross + f2l it takes between 4 and 7 seconds to finish LL (without any skips, I mean) so there's no way I can ever get to sub-10 territory (forget about WR-territory). I have been cubing for like 2 years now but I don't think in 5 years practicing I'm gonna get that much faster.
So, my conclusion is, there's a limit and it is different for everyone. There's people that can easily get to sub-15 in 1 year and with 3 or even 4 LLL while others will take more time and perhaps 2LLL and other stuff (partial EO, WV, ZBLL... whatever) to get equally faster.
Regarding the guy that started the thread, I'm not qualified to answer, as I'm much much slower but perhaps some advice can be extracted of what I've said: you need to analyze very carefully all your strengths and weaknesses and perhaps see you solving on video. see if your cross is efficient and figertrick friendly, see if you have pauses in cross-to-f2l transition or between f2l pairs (or in f2l-to-oll and oll-to-pll), see if you can turn faster in f2l while not losing your capacity to lookahead well, review your alg set and make sure you can sub-X (X depending on target speed) all of them and try to find new ones for those that you can't... and, even after all this, maybe, and just maybe, you cannot get much faster than you already are. I for one would be glad to be sub-13, as I don't think I'll ever be sub-15 globally. I'm old and slow![]()
