Garf's Progression Thread - Beating Hard Levels in GD (Hardest is Bloodbath)

Hey guys. I got a new computer a few days ago and I was getting that set up for school. I did try GD on pc after a long stretch from that, but I decided it wasn't really worth anything to me. I got so good on mobile that switching back to PC will be hard.
As for cubing, I might be burning it off for good. With college starting and me getting into Geometry Dash, it's hard for me to stay consistent on cubing, despite me doing it for 6 years. It's been a fun while especially with me participating in Worlds as a volunteer, but I just can't keep doing it for a while.
I'll still do some fun solves every now and then, but I won't be practicing as I used to.
With that out of the way, I will still be selling my entire collection, but I'll accept any deals you guys come up with. I do want to keep some cubes, but not all of them.
As for me staying active on this site, I'm not sure how active I'll be, but I'll definitely stop by to say hi.
All good things must come to an end, and I guess this is my time, and I known it would be coming.

Garf update again. I actually went and set up my PC, and turns out I’m WAY BETTER than I anticipated for PC. So I can’t bite my own words here and comfortably say that I much prefer PC to mobile, especially with my hardest being Forest Temple and also getting 73% on Supersonic. Goal is to beat Bloodbath by the end of the year.
Still not cubing so much, though I might get roped into a comp in October, so I might have to start practicing again. We’ll see.

it’s tied between Thinking Space II and Amethyst. The top player zoink is the only victor/verifier of each level and he thinks TSII is harder, but rob hasn’t rated it yet. Plus zoink verified TSII so there might be some bias. So Amethyst is the hardest level in the game.

Hey guys, bit of an update. I finished a level I was building, and started decorating it. Excited to share when the time comes! Also, I kind of started to learn two extreme demons: low tide (which probably won't be rated due to the layout not belonging to the decorator, who had posted the level) and bloodbath (which I have in 4 runs of 28%, 24-41, 41-79, and 67-100). I decided to just solely focus on bloodbath and go for Low Tide at a later date. I also started school, which is fun so far.
Also trying to get back into running after not going on many runs for a bit

I've started a series on YT where I've been beating every former top-1 demon, and I've gotten to the first hard demon of the challenge.

I've beaten 38 demons in GD. Nice. 39 is going to be Ice Carbon Diablo X and 40 will be Cataclysm.

I've decided to go for Bloodbath as my next extreme demon, which is 682nd on the All-Rated Extreme Demon list (AREDL). I already have the level down in 4-5 runs, so it shouldn't be too hard for me to relearn the beginning, practice a ton, and listen to some good fnaf music during my streams to beat it.
I thought about trying Allegiance or The Ultimate Phase, but I decided to go for those after BB. Then I'll do the Crazy series and Phobos.
My goal for 2026 is to beat a list demon, which will require a ton of grinding from me, but I know I can do it.

well in my stream 2 days ago I got 52-100 on BB, and I managed to get 24-44, bringing my progress closer to three runs.
I'm going to go live as soon as I get some food in my system.

a lot of gd players have a goofy ahh song mashup for a level, I think that’s the case here

1. I was in a VC call with some friends, so you can hear them talking
2. My mic's frequency was going crazy for some reason and make the screeching noise
and 3. I used an At The Speed of Light x Shake it Off mash up that I found works the best for me. Why? If I listen to the main song for too long, I go mentally crazy. I've tried other mashups, but this was just the one that worked the best for me. I think almost all of Taylor's songs are bad except for Shake It Off and Trouble.

So I guess I'm coming back to cubing. I haven't been doing it since I got burnt out from Worlds, but I decided to return after all these months since I want to return to the previous goals that I've set.
