It was the opposite: I loved them. But they popped a little too often for my liking, and I wasn't really improving. So that is part of the reason why I gave them away/sold them. The other reason is so that I could get a GTS3M.

and that is pretty much it.

I plan on modding a Yuxin Little Magic 4x4 to have less catches and have more of a flagship performance.

Experiment: take a GTS3M, and put maglev/core-magnets in it. I should be able to take the RS3M core magnets and the Moyu Maglev Conversion kit from TC and mod my puzzle that way. But that'll be for another order.

Alright... sad news for all the bld solvers, but I am going to stop learning 3-style, and get better at 5x5 and Megaminx. I feel like I want to be OP in those events. That means Megaminx and 5x5 will be my main events now, as they are really the only events I can practice without getting stressed. That also mean learning things, like PLL for megaminx, and better solving habits for 5x5.
5x5 average: 1:25-1:35. Goal by end of year: Sub-1 minute. Method: Redux. Goal Method: Redux. Main: Meilong 5m. Goal Main: YJ MGC 5x5.
Megaminx average: 1:10-1:30. Goal by end of year: sub-50 or sub 1 minute. Method: Westlund. Goal Method: Westlund with total color neutrality. Main: YJ Yushi V2M. Goal Main: YJ Yushi V2 M.

i did WAY to many 5x5 solves. im talking like 5000 solves in the last month, mostly untimed. i did a lot of slow solves to help with look ahead and efficiency. and also watched example solves from top cubers
id be happy to give you tips if you like

Good luck getting sub-50 on megaminx using a 6x6. No idea how you'll get there. You should get a Dayan Megaminx v2m.
