Hello I have tagged all of you who were interested in the Record Streak Calculator. The first version is ready now!
Record Streak Calculator for Cubing
Tool for speedcubers to calculate their personal record streak at WCA competitionscubingapp.com
Already existsIs there going to be a leaderboard for people with the longest PR streaks? I would be excited to see that
Oop, thanks!Already exists
Longest streak of competitions with a personal record done
Build kit for generating cubing-related rankingsjonatanklosko.github.io
here's a quick brainstorm. would you like something like this? I figured out it's possible to put a google sheet inside a pageadd functionality for users to submit algsets (maybe even easy integration with google sheets) and other users to see them making it so that one person could upload all RU ZBLL for example (idk) and someone add ZZ-CT and someone add ECE algs
basically let us add algs so you dont have to
yeah that would be great!here's a quick brainstorm. would you like something like this? I figured out it's possible to put a google sheet inside a page
there could also be a page to search for algorithm sets and to look at your bookmarks

Is the black colored side the bottom layer of the SQ-1?I can add that to my todo list
I saw you suggested in another thread to add sq1 EP algs, and that page is ready now.

in accordance with real life sq1, black is top, white is bottomIs the black colored side the bottom layer of the SQ-1?
Oh, I thought it was the other way around. But thanks!in accordance with real life sq1, black is top, white is bottom
Thank you for letting me know, should be fixed now
1. YesI'm thinking about a page on cubingapp to view info about WCA competitions. I would try to match the features on the official WCA website, plus some additional features
One idea I have to sort competitions by distance. You could enter your latitude and longitude and then you see the closest competitions
1. Would you use this to look up competitions?
2. What else would you like to see?
The closest comp to me is 18km, wheras my furthest is 11886km in New Zealand! Awesome tool.Have you ever wanted to find competition near by? Here's what you might do:
Before:
Now:
- WCA competition website
- Click 'Map'
- Zoom into your location
- Click all the map pins to see competition info
- cubingapp competition website
- Enter latitude/longitude (skip this step if you bookmark the page)
With cubingapp it's a lot easier! Try it here and make sure to bookmark your coordinates https://cubingapp.com/competitions/
Another small change I made is to put Kinch and Sum of Ranks in the navigation bar. These are among the most popular pages so they should be easy to access

Do you think icons or event names would be better? I'm also thinking about a feature to filter by event like they have on the WCA siteCool.
How about displaying distance in both Standard and Metric; 10km/6.2mi? or choose one and save it with the bookmark, too.
You can also get coords on google maps; right click on a spot on pc, tap and hold on mobile.
You might want to display the events by what more people more commonly know them as; 3x3, OH, FMC, 3BLD, etc.
The closest to me is over 200km away but I'm glad this exists now. Cubingapp is so good.Have you ever wanted to find competitions nearby? Here's what you might do:
