To kick off the changelog, I'll share a new page that was released today. You can check it out here

This page allows you to customize key bindings. The virtual cube can be controlled with the keyboard, and some people have expressed different preferences about how keys should be mapped to the moves. Now each person can set their own key bindings.

Here is how it looks currently. I'm pretty happy with the keyboard layout because you can easily see which keys are mapped to which moves.

What if I told you the computer came up with this solution for cross and F2L?

Well it's true! I put in the scramble, and then I was presented with suggestions to solve the cross and F2L.

The feature is very much in beta, so don't get your hopes up too high. Right now it only supports white cross, and it doesn't work well with rotations.

Pretty soon I plan to fix those things. I would also like to add more steps and methods in the future. I'm a roux user myself, but I started with cfop due to popularity.

Try it out by putting in a scramble for yourself: https://cubingapp.com/recon.html

New features this week
- Scrambles for 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4
- Must hold down timer for 0.3 seconds to start the timer (to make it consistent with competition timers)
- Rotations, slice moves, and wide moves supported in the Reconstruction tool

Let me know what features you want to see next!

Here's what the CubingApp Timer looks like now: https://cubingapp.com/timer.html

The algorithm database now has different variants for F2L cases: front right, front left, back right, and back left.

As a matter of fact, it's now possible to add variants for any algorithm set. The algorithm database is open source on github, and so far we are up to PBL, CLL, EG1, EG2, F2L, OLL, PLL, Winter Variation, COLL, OLLCP, ZBLL, and 4x4 PLL Parity.
