[Help Thread] Cubing Injuries?

Prepare yourself.

1. My brother has thrown a 2x2, a 3x3, a 4x4 (at least these two were pillow V-Cubes) and the lube bottle to my head. Don't worry, he's dead.
2. My thumbs always get stuck between an edge and a corner of the 3x3. Ouch.
3. From 11:30 pm to 3:45 am tensioning the DaYan Megaminx. I don't know how many screws ended up in my eyes. I got up at 2 pm. I suffer while solving it.
4. Every single finger in my hands got dkgkgjefivkgksjs after trying to take apart an edge from my best friend's Rubik's 2.0 during English class (I'm Spanish). It took an hour for them to come back to their original form.
5. I've hit myself with everything after getting more than 45 seconds on 3x3 (walls, cupboards, doors, desktops, floors, keyboards, musical keyboards, lamps, books, windows, Windows 10, Windows 8.1, stackspeeds, Casio calculators, knifes and V-Cube 4s). Yeah, I've almost killed myself by no reason but cubing...

So children...

Never go cubing, it's as unhealthy as 4.90 hamburgers in a row.

also stabbed through my hand with a screwdriver trying to unscrew a screw from my fangshi jieyun when I first got it

I've done a similar thing.. I was using a really small flathead screwdriver and put it down on the table for a second. It rolled off the table, so I instinctively went to catch it, and basically slammed my hand into the screwdriver right as it hit a chair. It definitely didn't go through my hand, but I did have to pull it out..

I don't want to picture that...............
I killed myself after I felt the Guanlong, does that count as an injury?
Also, I've noticed recently that my fingernails/fingers have been stinging, maybe because of turning to much xD

WHOOPS I MEANT ALMOST I didn't actually have a screwdriver puncture through my hand oh god I'm so sorry

Well I also just don't have anything better, so they could just be that bad.

I got a large number for multi (though I've given many away) and they varied hugely. Some were amazing - some of the best cubes I've ever used - whereas others were slow and had lots of spring noise. I don't know how much they'd differ if they were all set up the same though.

That's interesting, I also have a bunch for multi (10ish), and they're all extremely similar. This is getting off-topic again. :P

During the last Worlds, in Brazil, I fell from the main stage trying to dodge a kid while she was coming up the stage. Ended up with a bad sprained knee, went to the hospital twice in an ambulance, had an entire medical team assisting me throughout the rest of the comp and almost a week walking with crutches. It was super fun though :p

I'll quote you on that.
