You could just show Beginners Method, see how that goes and progress from there, as they're unfamiliar with notation and the language used, LBL will help reinforce it.

I started off with a Rubiks Brand, then moved onto a Warrior W. I got sub 45s with that. Then bought a GAN Air SM, and I now have a 22 sec average. Just to let yall know, the Warrior costs $3 on the Cubicle, but after 1 to 2 months of use, it locks up SO frequently

If I was to start a club, a regular mini-comp once lots of people join would be a good idea. People bring in computers or phones and use csTimer with another person reviewing and scrambling.
