Ernő Rubik himself affirmed that IQ has no place being associated with intelligence, and certainly not cubing.
I agree with this.IQ measures a person's reasoning ability.
I would argue that IQ isn't directly correlated in any way to ability to solve a Rubik's Cube, which is obviously just pattern recognition and muscle memory.

Double post but this is where emotional intelligence comes in. Just as important as IQI’m not sure if picking up on social cues directly relates with ones intelligence.

If not, then low IQ.
If you think that we live in a benevolent world, where the above four entities have your best interests in mind, then you have a low IQ.
