My main OH method is CEOR and I am sub18 with it so I can give an overview.
There is also a good tutorial by Cuberstache on youtube and in the Mehta discord server is a channel for CEOR.

The main idea of the method is to reduce the cube to a [r,u,R,U]-gen state, so the rest of the solve is rotationless and easier to execute.
The steps of the method are:
CPLine:
solve a 1x1x3 block at DL while doing corner permutation
pEO-extension:
extend the block to a 1x2x3 and putting a oriented edge at DB
EODFDB:
solve EO and the DF and DB edges, making a 2x2x3
right block:
finish the first two layers
last layer:
one-look with 2GLL or two-look with [R,U]-gen OCLL and EPLL
The first step is by far the hardest to learn, the rest is very intuitive and quite easy to learn if you already have experience with EO and blockbuilding.
