The CEOR Example Solve Thread

If we're actually going to talk in this thread, how do you guys recognize CP? I have seen so many different ways to recognize CP, and still I struggle so much with it. (Trying to recognize CP in inspection? Forget about it!)
I use the YruRU tracing method, but in order to know the corner to swap I use MAYT (Mike's Advanced YruRU Tracing), which I think is the simplest/fastest method, but first you have to grasp the concept of the YruRU circlets.
I had to watch several times Cuberstache's video about YruRU to finally understand it!

I know several persons use UCPT (Ulrik's CP Tracing) which I understand but find more complicated (mental swaps, equivalent corner swaps).
For additional information about all this, you can join the CEOR Discord server. For any question, feel free to DM, I'd be happy to help!

By the way, I think I'm the only person using MAYT (hopefully Mike uses it as well lol). I'm 48 and not the brightest, but I can easily find CP during inspection, so it is very possible with practice. You’ll manage it!

Hahaha, between Renslay's color scheme and steps order (FB before CP?! 😮) and DDDDavid building FB in front 🤯, this is getting hard for me to follow!
Anyway congrats guys, great job!

Here is a trick: you can convert the whole solution to your color scheme: just insert the necessary cube rotation before the scramble itself! (What cube rotation? It depends, you have to figure it out, or test a few randomly)

This is how I convert any and all of my solves to anyone's color scheme if they are not color neutral.

Just start inserting random combinations of x / y / z at the start of the scramble until you can see that the cube is solved with the colors you want.

Hehe that indeed does the trick, even if it feels unnatural at first. Yeah I can then follow your way of thinking afterwards, makes sense 👌🏼

There are some move cancellations there, but I left it in its original form.
