So, my friend just bought a 4x4x4 and he can't solve the PLL, 'cause as it looks like, it has an impossible parity error which we can't figure out how to solve.
Any help on this?

if you are getting something like that then you are probably using an odd method
Very helpful.

This isn't parity, it can be solved by two 3-cycles of wings.

Orange top, yellow front:
u' R U' R' u R U R L' U L d2 L' U' L d2 R2
Thanks for taking the time to help him.

Just in case you are interested, I found the optimal algorithm for this case: 9 moves:
(2R2 U' F2 U') 2R2 (U F2 U 2R2)

I put this algorithm (and several other pretty brief algorithms) in my 3-look LL Wing Edge Method PDF. (The three steps of the method are: solve one Dedge slot completely, "OLL", PLL.).

In addition, here is an algorithm set for "new" 1 3-cycle and 1 2-cycle cases (cases on the top of page 14 of the PDF) (the "oriented" cases which affect five wing edges) that I didn't include in that PDF (I found the ones in the PDF with Cube Explorer, but I explain in that post that I found nicer for execution and/or shorter algorithms by hand. I should update that document!).
