I think you should be averaging under 30 with an unlubed storebought with sand in it and standing outside in the pouring rain waist deep in snow. Then, and only then, may you think about possibly ordering a better cube.
As far as the best 3x3s go, it's almost always a personal choice on what you like. In general, the best (accepted) speedcubes are DIYs types A(I-V), C (I/II), and F(I/II). (Once, again, this is in general, you could make a case for many other types, too.) BUT, I would first recommend getting faster before getting a new cube. If you take good care of it, Rubik's brands can be surprisingly nice. I would recommend ordering from Cubeforyou, as they tend to be (albeit slow) very reliable and have a nice selection. As far as 4x4s go, Mefferts, QJ, and Mini QJ are all very nice. I might even recommend Eastsheen to start out. I personally like QJ.
P.S. I realize you're making an order, I just thought I'd put in my two cents.
Err... don't you think you're pushing things a little too fast?
At two minutes, your objective should be practice, not considering to get a new cube. Lubricate your cube that you have right now and just keep to it until you get better.
I, personally, averaged about 45 seconds before getting a DIY.
Yes, and I'm also taking into consideration that it's going to take 2-3 weeks to arrive. I am down to about 1.30 now, so by the time is comes, I'll be about 45 .
Thanks for the help again guys, you should start to see me posting around the forum more.
What method do you use? If you use a begginers LBL method, you'll find your progress will quickly slow down at about 1:00 for most people. If you learn intermediate Fridrich, then you may get even worse times at first (especially with F2L).

That method is called the Layer By Layer method (lbl). You're probably going to hit a wall at about 50 seconds to 1minute and it will be very frustating. You will be wanting to learn a faster method sometime but that can wait until you get some faster layer by layer solves.
Ok, well I decided. I'm going to hold off on the 3x3x3 as my Rubik's one is fine right now. I ordered a Eastsheen 4x4x4 off of Ebay from the US. Over time, I will buy better ones, and work on the 4x4x4 as well.
