[WR] 5.66 3x3x3 Single Feliks Zemdegs

Woah, woah, taking things out of context much?? Let's see:

I think it was rather clear that it was about money.
Stefan, I'd say you took it "out of context much": By several past posts it was already cleared (several times) that it was about saying that there is no sponsor (in general) while actually the cube was sponsored, just for the simple fact that a cube isn't money (as stated by Fazdad himself).
In other words, it was about not acknowledging free cubes as sponsoring. There still is a difference between sponsor and "only" a money giver of which I thought (especially) you would know about (as the bean picker that you - and me - are).

Well, what if my dad/brother/sister/dog/whatever gives me a cube (as a gift) FOR FREE! Would I have to consider them as my sponsors if I choose to use that cube in a competition? Of course we are entitled to our own opinions, however I do not see how that getting a gift is some form of sponsorship. However that is only my opinion and you are free to think otherwise.

well this was a pretty big jump from the previous world record, its only about time that feliks skips another day of school and spends it cubing and improves like a second, and summers here less work more cubing for him.

I'm fairly certain Jess Bonde used a black cube for his world record, but I don't have any conclusive proof.

The only images I have of Jess Bonde from the 2003 World Championship are:
First picture on this page shows Jess Bonde in the back row, fifth from the left, with his right arm around Heath Litton. In his right hand he is holding a black puzzle, but the quality is bad and I'm not sure if it is his Rubik's cube. Jess is the one in the black shirt and the grey sweat shirt.

The first picture on this page shows Jess Bonde in the background on the right side of the picture holding a black puzzle which does appear to be a Rubik's cube.

I have only one close-up picture of me with Jess Bonde here (4th picture down), but you cannot see his cube.
