[Help Thread] 2x2 CLL Method Discussion

How many algs should I learn in a day? Like just a set or 2-3?
However many you want to learn. If you can do a set a day, then that's great - but remember to do lots of practise solves as well so you can improve recognition/recall. Personally, after learning one alg, I don't learn another until I can do a solve with it without having to pause more than normal. There's no point in learning them all at once if you then can't recall which one to use, and then forget them!

I have recently started actually practising 2x2, and i am sub 5 using full C(M)LL. How can i improve? I have considered learning EG1, started, but forgot them quickly because they would rarely come up. I know 1-looking is vital, but i find it hard to one look layers that take me over 4 moves. I also know that with eg1, 1 looking becomes easier. So should i sub 4 with cll or learn eg1?

i don't do 2x2, but switch out some of you cmll algs for cll, then learn eg 1, then eg 2. then practice.

Personally, i will practise first, then switch to some better 2x2 cll algs. As i said b4, i can sub 1 most cmlls on 3x3, but quite a few use D moves which suk for 2x2. So i will learn 10-15 ish new clls then start EG1.

switch out 75% of your cmll algs for better ones, seriously.
You should try to sub 5 with Ortega or LBL and then go learning CLL and sub3 and beyond with that, you can get sub 3 with CLL, its just easier with EG
I personally don't want to learn more algs and CLL is fine with me, but its up to you.
EDIT: start one-looking solves when you get faster so more efficient layers are prominent to you and making it easier than now for one-looking, also move cancelations are KEY. again, watch the video above if you want for some efficient layers.
I can sub 1 most CLLs and i think its better to learn a new set, i suggest Jayden's CLL's, also most sune and anti-sune cases are the same.

Eww lbl/ortega why would i go backwards?

Anyone know a good CLL trainer?

The one here is good but I need scrambles.
I have this bookmarked from a while ago, but I never use it, since I don't know CLL. It seems to do pretty much everything, except that it's a bit slow, and the solved layer isn't always on D - but that's good in a way, since it helps you with being colour neutral.

Wowowow, this is great. It won't be long before I'm sub-5 on 2x2.
