5x5 vs gigaminx

I'm not sure if this is the right section to talk about this but general says no questions so yea lol.

Just curious, why does the gigaminx cost so much more than the 5x5? because megaminx is around 5-15 usd which is reasonable, but 5x5 is around 10-25 usd so why is the gigaminx 50-70 usd?

It takes quite a bit more plastic/moving parts to make a dodecahedron turn than just a cube. Plus, they are more intricate, so they are more difficult to manufacture, and thus, more expensive.

I understand that, but like from what I've seen Mf8 is better than C4U..but Mf8 is so over priced, kind of a bummer :/

You get what you pay for. Generally, if something is going to perform better, it will cost more (not always true, but most of the time).

Mf8 plastic is much better then c4u. I have broken 4 pieces on my c4u gigaminx.

True, I'm just kinda complaining here about the price lol, I just kinda woke up and had the urge to buy a gigaminx but too bummed to pay that much

If you mean modded 3x3s, the only place that I think has wide variety of modded cubes is lubix..

A gigaminx has way more parts, like a megaminx has many more parts than a 3x3. That's probably why.
