I have been stuck in the 21 sec. av. for a long time. I use two step oll and I know full pll. I really need help getting past this barrier. Looking ahead is not helping much. Any tips would be apreciated. I am so mad that I want to quit cubing!

Don't be mad. Just relax and slow down your F2L. Turn as slow and smooth on F2L that you NEVER have to stop turning to find the next pair. Then just do that for the rest of your life. ;)

Okay do what kconny said for sure, and try to finger trick ALL of your LL :P
If you really get good at slowing down at f2l, speed up a little tiny bit, and a good way you can do this is to practice with a metronome, or at least it has helped me :P

Maybe you could be more specific in your times? If you want to get a sub 20, I could show you a "guideline" on how fast each of your steps should be. (I'm assuming you use Fridrich, but I'm not sure because you're not specific enough)

Cross = 2 seconds average
F2L = 10 seconds average
2 Look OLL = 4 seconds average
PLL = 3 seconds average
Total = 19 seconds average

That's a sub 20 average, and you should try focusing on those parts where you aren't fast enough. If it doesn't work for you, you could always learn all the OLLs....

Lol JUST got past that realm, if you look at my WCA record(Daniel Saha), you can see..

I average like 18 now, the only thing is to practice!

Ha! You are at the same stage as me on ryanheise sim. I'm perhaps 5s slower on real cube. I've recently gone back to the sim, so I get a pb everyday or so. I think I've improved a lot on the cross. F2L probably can be a lot better for both of us.
