Oh wow, that was tricky to put together.
Mine grinds like anything on the inner slices, but hopefully that will smooth out with use.
Anyway, loving it. Thanks again for organising this Joey.
(One wee question, did you pack it with newspaper or do they get The Guardian in Thailand? )

Wee tip, the inner cross is much easier to make if you have it really tight, but you have to start slackening it off as you go on to get the rest in.
Also don't make the mistake that I did when after I completed the inner cross and placed the bottom layer cubies - I then made the inner E layer, but without putting the second layer of edges and centers in place first... had to take almost the whole thing apart again.

EDIT: Also I compressed the hell out of those springs but couldn't make them noticeably shorter than uncompressed ones, did anyone else find this?

I didn't notice much of a difference after the springs were compressed.

Mine compressed fine by a mm or so, by just pressing down on it 10-15 times with my penknife (not the blade!).
Just stickering mine now. The first cross took over half my total assembly time
