Hi everyone,
I found a very talented 6-year-old who can already solve the Puppet Cube v1.
This is not my child, but I thought the community might enjoy seeing this because it’s extremely rare for someone this young to solve this puzzle.

Here is the video:

I can’t solve it yet myself.
I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Wow thats wonderful, does he want to pursue speedsolving normal puzzles and attend a lot of WCA comps?
Thanks for your reply.
I've been trying to solve the Puppet Cube v1 for a while now and I'm on the verge of giving up because I can't seem to solve it.
I don't know how he's solving, and it makes me lose confidence in myself.
I don't know if he's playing Speed Cube, but there are other videos on his YouTube channel of solving Ghost Cube and even Skewb Ultimate, which he can solve at this age.Unbelivable!

Do you believe this kid figured it out on his own? It is not hard to solve any puzzle if you look up a guide.
Have you solved easier puzzles by yourself? The puppet cube is notoriously hard because of its blocking pieces, which makes standard (group) methods like commutators and conjugates not guaranteed. https://www.speedsolving.com/thread...ical-underpinning-groupoids-visualized.79056/

My suggestion is to not give up. All twisty puzzles are solvable with enough patience and observation. I cannot do it without notes so I write down everything I tried and how the pieces interact. It's too much to keep in your head all at once.

Thank you for the advice.
He’s certainly impressive, but I think it’s better for me to work my way up step by step, starting with easier cubes.
I’d like to take my time and think differently using the methods for the 2×2 and 3×3.
Thanks again.

If the child did this on their own, thi is insanely good. They have absolutely phenomenal mental capbilities.
Thanks for your reply.
From what I’ve seen on various sites, it seems that even with solution videos and explanations, the Puppet Cube v1 is really hard to understand, and it definitely takes some mental perseverance to solve.
I was about ready to give up, but instead of comparing myself to others, I’ve decided to keep challenging it in my own way.
Thanks again.
