Whats Up With Matyas Kuti these days?

He is banned from competition through February 2011. It's rumored that he will return to competition.

it's rumored? by who?
anyway nowadays he's a pretty mediocre cuber or at least he pretends to be and he's found a new hobby, I don't think he's coming back. (well I'd be happy if he did, because then I could beat him not just posthumous :D )

on topic: nice job Feliks, I'm looking forward for the other videos :)

That's unlikely since the official ban was two years from the time he returned the prize money he was awarded at the world championships. I haven't heard that he ever returned the money, so his next compition can't be less than two years away.

WOW! I thought this was a joke when I first saw it.
Was it only the first solve that was lucky?
And completely shattering the old WR by almost a second, right?

I remember 3 years ago, on TwistyPuzzles and the Yahoo group, people were absolutely convinced that a sub-10 average in competition was impossible, that it would never happen. I and others (including Stefan) tried to convince them that anything was possible, but they just couldn't get it.

I do believe sub 9 avg of 5 in competition will be achieved someday. Maybe not far from now.

But sub 8..... It'll never ever happen.

I bet sub-7 is possible.
