Stupid question, but how does Brest know what the exact scramble is? Does he just choose a scramble that will result in the same state?

Scrambles are provided for every WCA competition. All Brest has to do is get the scramble and then do the reconstruction. (But it's probably a little more complicated than that)

So many fullstep sub-6s. Yet so few sub-5.55s :p
First sup-10 TPS I've seen from him. I knew he could do it though, didn't he have a 9.99 ETPS solve in his WR average?

I don't think so. It was high 9 but not 9.99.

Gratz faz. Soon we'll have to make a sub-6 compilation instead of sub-7.

I think he had one in his 7.49 average.
