Z Perm. Which of these two Algorithms?

Hello,
I'm learning PLL right now and I'm writing down algorithms in a notebook. I'm copying down Z Perm and there are 2 algorithms. One hard to memorize but easy to do, and the other vise versa.
The First(Hard to Memorize but Fast):U2 (R U R' U)(R' U' R' U)(R U' R' U')R2 U R
Second (Easy to memorize but Slow. It's sorta of like H Perm):M2 U M2 U M' U2 M2 U2 M' U2
I'm wondering if there's another that's easier than the two above?

The top is the inverse, but the U2 at the beginning is broken apart and a U is moved to the end of the solve.

You should never have to ask someone for something like this. It's a lot easier to do on your own than it might seem.

Try M2 U2 M' U M2 U M2 U M' U' or its inverse (a chance for you to practice doing inverses!). Less U2 generally = faster.

Heh, I don't actually use this alg for 3x3 speed anymore, though I still use it for bigcubes and OH.

I've been using that Z perm for the 4 months I've been speedcubing. I haven't found a MU Z perm that has a flow as nice as the H perm. And yes, R U perms are very nice for OH XD

There is a 8 turn form of the Z-perm.

It is E2 M' E2 M' U M2 U' M2.

But I guess this is a slow way to do it.

I use M2 U M2 U M' U2 M2 U2 M' U2 and i'm decently fast at it =P

I use almost the exact same algorithm:

M2 U' M2 U' M' U2 M2 U2 M' U2.

The only difference are the first 2 U turns. I do my M slice turns with my right hand, so I need to use my left hand for the U turns. You need to do a y/y' though or else you'll end up with an H Perm. I take 3-4 seconds on it since I can't double-flick my fingers to do the U2's yet.

Easy to memorize but Slow

It's not necessarily slow if your M turns are fast. If you do r2 R2 instead of M2 or r R' for M', it'll definitely be slow.

I average around 1.5 with MU Z perm, I just don't like the AUF with it. It's opposite whatever it would normally be. For example. U', M2 U M2 U M' U2 M2 U2 M, you can see the AUF is now off by a U' again, but it's actually not. Doing the alg from this position yields a U off from solved at the end, so to determine auf before PLL, you must use the inverse of what's in your head during the solve.
