Hello, I have recently become interested in solving big cubes layer-by-layer. I have been working on 4x4 for a bit, and can easily solve the First 3 Layers. I was wondering if anyone had an algorithm/commutators for flipping single edges. Does anyone have an algorithm/commutators for this?

I understand what you mean with your question. But, part of having you understand how to fix this case is to understand the following:

It is impossible to flip edges on a 4x4x4. There is no concept at all of edge flip on a 4x4x4. Edges only have positions or permutations.

If you want a bigger hint:

Ah, I was looking at it all wrong. It's impossible to flip a single edge, so I will have to pair the top edges & then flip a paired edge at the same time.
