WC2007 in local news

Apparently it was on the front page of my local paper today (thanks to masterofthebass for the heads up).

Even though we already know why they all say, I thought it interesting that my local newspaper covered the story.

There was a lot on the internet, they're all posting the same article. I think it's from NBC. That's the biggest company I've seen showing it. They got the 'fastest time of 10.88' wrong. And it's wrong in every. single. article.


Andrew Kang goes to the same High School as me, and our local news didn't say anything about him winning. Which means that all the local news just gets a bit of info from the higher ups. Oh well.

There was a little report in the local newspaper of our region with a foto of Yu Nakajima. They just said that he won and that there was a competition.

What do you mean they got the fastest time of 10.88 wrong?

Simply scrolling down the results of the 3x3x3 you can see Dan got a 10.59 in the semi final 10.88 was only the fastest in the final.
