How much did you improve since your first competition?

I was thinking about this and decided to ask you guys. How much did you do in your first competition and what is your current PR single?

My best single in my first competition was an 18.16 in April 2023, and my current PR single was a 8.43 in June 2025.

I got an 30.06 average my first comp (I averaged sub-25 tho) and got sub-20 ao5 next comp lol, now my PRs are 16.02 and 17.65

In my First competition in 2014 my average 30 about and in my final competition about 20 in 2023.
My pb 10.95 in home sometimes 16-18.
But 2009 1 minute 20 seconds when I develoveped an Advanced Method Platform since 2009-2014.

you guys are fast for your first comp!! My first comp I had a 1:40(ish) avg and at least one of my solves was over 2 minutes. idk the exact times and am too lazy too look them up. But yeah I improved A LOT since then. To be fair, I JUST learned to solve a cube before my first comp. I used beginners method and now I use CFOP.

My first competition was Music City Speedsolving 2023 over 3 years ago and I had competed in 3x3 and Pyra which are still my main events, in that comp I got a 3x3 average of 29.70 seconds with a single of 27.32 seconds and I got a Pyraminx average of 20.47 seconds with a single of 15.86 seconds.

In my first WCA comp, my only podium was in multi blind, with a 2/3 result getting second place.

I have improved to 22/23 in 2018, and not improved since then sadly.
