I wanted to put whole cube but couldn't justify it.
I only solved it twice when I was a kid.
When I picked it back up again I got my F2L done quite quickly.

My 1st solve after watch the Pogo Lover's video was 2 mins 40 secs.

Does it still count as my own method if the only hints I got was do it layer by layer and start with a cross?
Cuz I figured the rest of the cube all on my own with my own method and algorithms that I came up with on my own.
When i first did it, I could never get sub 1 min, but now that i have lubed non rubik's brand cubes, and have decent look ahead i get around 40s with that method.
In comparison, with CFOP I get sub 20

When i was five i got my first cube. It took me a month to figure out the first layer then the second layer in a day. Thats as far as i got until i was about 10. I got a new cube and tried again and finally figured out the last layer (4 algs), which werent very efficient. With that method, i got a record of 51 seconds. A few months ago (7-8 years later), I started trying to optimize my method (convert the algs to finger-tricks) my record went to 47 on the first try. So i started reinventing a new method with a 3 look LL and took the corner permutations from the CFOP method, the rest i have to create still. I completed the last 2 look alg sets and am currently working on the final (edges done in 1 alg). My current record is 27.5 with an average of 38-ish, and should be reduced soon. :D
