I know I’ve done a lot of speedrunning, but I haven’t really had the motivation to cube lol.
But I was figuring out a schedule that would help me more productive and I realized I only have like 3 hours or so for free time on weekdays and I want to make sure I’m spending that on something I will truly care about in the future.
I’ve been conflicted on whether to keep cubing or keep speedrunning and playing Minecraft. Obviously I shouldn’t completely stop doing both, but I wanted to limit the amount of time I spend in one over the other.
Some things that speedcubing helps improve on for me is logical reasoning, deducing what should happen, pattern recognition, and overall help build a more social platform with people that enjoy the same hobby as me.
As for playing Minecraft, it can teach you how to prioritize things, pattern recognition, logical resasoning, organizing stuff to do and build, and it also has a pretty big social platform like cubing.
I do need some help picking tho. I’m not sure which one to keep pursuing and improving on, because I want to do both but due to time restrictions I can’t do 200+ solves a day and spend 4 hours on Minecraft on top of keeping my higher priorities in check.

Ultimately I don't think you should decide what to pursue based on what will help you the most, as I think both cubing and gaming are unlikely to be much of a practical help in your life. They're both hobbies that you do for fun, so it makes sense to do whatever you are enjoying more.

I was really meaning a hobby I’ll keep on doing and prioritizing over the other but that makes sense.

maybe record your solves and do deliberate practice everyday for about and hour or an hour and a half (multiple events and if there are some algs to learn like some other megaminx thing, learn that) and then spend the other hour doing minecraft. Make sure you enjoy everything though, since that’s what’s most important

Aosu v7 on top
debated on both. I've tried an aosu v7 in comp but I just didn't find it appealing. It could be my main sure but it didn't feel like me, ya know? I've had both the aosu wrm and the MGC together at some point and I just really preferred the feel size and turning of the MGC over the aosu. @NebraskanSpeedsolver can tell you about it lol.
Plus the super small size also modified my decision quite a bit so there's that.

It should get here sometime next week I think.
