My success rate rn is about 1/2, so I hope to practice more and get my success rate up. My memorization is pretty slow, it's been getting faster though (takes me ~40-50s for corners and 1 min for edges + repeating corners again). I think I'm gonna make my own letter pair spreadsheet to help with audio memorization for edges.

Also I'm like sub2.5 on 2x2 now, didn't learn any new eg-1s (still getting used to the algs and getting recog up). My tracing has gotten a bit better, and 560/3200 solves in my session are sub2.

For mega, I somehow dropped my average from ~1:40 to sub 1:20 within like 10 solves and a youtube video, and my pb single is 1:04.91, so I'll be grinding for that sub-1 soon.

I'm still doing 3x3 on and off because I'm hovering around flat 10 for a while now and I'm kinda bored of the event, so I'm also focusing more on 3bld. I'm averaging pretty consistently at the 3 min to 4 min range. My memo and exec is pretty even, so I'll need to work on creating a letter pairs sheet and memorizing them, and learning new methods.

Huh, I don't know why the Super Weilong is 99 bucks on Cubicle, it's less than 40 bucks here, and the WRMs are both a bit over 20 bucks, so I should be able to afford it

Disregarding the price, is the Super Weilong better than the WRM 9 or 10?

Hi guys, it has been quite a while since I've updated this thread because I'm busy with school and all. Been slacking off on learning new algs because of that. I've still been cubing though, here are some updates on my 3x3 PBs:

4.73 single (LL skip)
7.14 ao5

8.99 ao200

-1 broken weilong v10
+1 weilong v11

70s expert minesweeper
and some others I probably forgot.
On good days I average high 8s to low 9s on 3x3.
Main thing I came on here for is that I'm dying to join a competition, but there hasn't been any around me for a very long time. I was wondering if it's possible to organize an official WCA competition by myself, do yall have any knowledge/experience with that?

Went to my first ever comp, More Than One Cube Shanghai! Only events were FMC and multi-blind, so I signed up for FMC.

Overall experience was great, definitely the nerdiest room I've ever walked into in my life so far, and the cubing noises were surprisingly louder than I expected during an FMC competition.

I skipped the first two solves because I went to my senior friends' graduation, then I DNFed the last solve of the round. But for round 2 I got a 35.67 mean, which qualified me for finals (38, 35, 34).

Finals wasn't as great though, I DNFed solve 1 again (it was 40 moves anyway) because I miswrote an F as U. The other two solves were 38 and 36, which was quite average, but on solve 2 nine people got a 17 move solution, which was 9 AsR's in a single comp.
