How would vertically places magnets work? I would think that it, to put it simply, wouldn't. But I'm happy with the idea, I bought a ShiShuang which could come in 55mm (and yet I bought the 50mm). Interested to see how this play out.
yeah lol. I really wanted to try vertical magnets! I wanted to do something different. don't see why it wouldn't work tho. if something goes wrong, I can always just pop em out.

I suggest putting the printing speed as low as possible for the most accurate prints.
Also are you designing your own pieces?
I can set the speed as slow as I want so I don’t think I want to do that lol. 3D printers are pretty advanced so they can work fairly quickly without showing layer separation or warping. But to be fair, I am not running my printer at its fastest. I have it on 80mm/s which I multiply by 80%. And yes, I am designing my own pieces in fusion 360.

Wait, you have your own 3D printer???

Ok, I have a quite old one so it needs alot of manual adjustments

3d printed 2x2 taking the back seat cuz i don't have hardware. what doesn't need hardware tho is a shape mod! @Justincubes has commissioned me to make a corn cube!!! let's see what happens. here's a photo of the 3d model of the corn im working on in fusion360.

"wait, why aren't you using blender?"
"use blender for organic shapes you wermo"
"why no blender?"
"will it blend?"

listen im sure blender could do the same thing if not better, but i'm certain i can make a good corn in fusion and it'll be easier making the slots for the 2x2 pieces that I'll be putting it over.
feast your eyes on the corn: (I still need to play around with the kernels to make thins looks less uniform and more like that top portion)
