1x1 wrh!'s 3d printed cubing projects | 15cm 5x5

finished filming. because there are no cuts lol, this turned out to be 25 minutes of me talking. it's going to take a while for this to transfer to my computer. so, if anything about me is weird, it's cuz I've never filmed myself before so yeah. excuse any background noises, any choppy language, and whatever. hopefully this answered any questions you guys had and I had fun making this vid. #hairreveal

do you drop the F-bomb?
honestly...
If I hear you saying FiddlesTicksW on there (or worse)
I'm throwing the whole danged DVD out into the street! . . . !!! ☠️👽👻

[edit:] Holy Wow, that thing is over 2.5 GB😲👻🙀
don't worry, It's clean. no cussing or anything like that (im just not like that). yeah it's 2.5 cuz it's kinda long i guess. it's in HD, but I was filming at 60fps which is much for my I phone SE. that wasn't even the biggest problem tho lol. was my first time on camera so that was like my 12th take lol smh.

Okay, am going to make this the thread where I post about my 3d printed puzzles. So far my collection is small with only 3, but i'm looking to add more.

So, I was looking at the mgc squan and was thinking of buying it but... I looked at the mechanism and literally just started kicking myself about it. I mean the squan mechanism is so simple! Like simpler than a 3x3. It makes the 2x2 look like a gravity powered mechanical pendulum clock (I've designed one btw)! Also, I don't own a squan so this is probably why I've never noticed its mechanism, but in short, for a basic squan, there are only 3 parts. TTHUUHHREEEE!!! I always thought that squans were like the most complex puzzle. anyway, the three parts are edge (8 pcs), corner (8 pieces), and slice layer things (2 pcs). That adds up to 21pcs!! Genius! I don't even know how to solve squan so this should be fun.

anyway, let me put things into perspective again how crazy this is. a squan is literally just a 3 layer Bewb cube that has a cut in the middle and a few on the top. I could even make square 0's and square 2's. maybe the world's largest squan! or the smallest. you guys prob think I'm crazy but I just can't believe how I've always been sort of afraid of the squan mechanism but have just realized how simple it is.

Yeah, it is pretty simple. When my YLM squan popped for the first time, I put it back together in about 5 minutes, with no tutorials or anything.

finished the first step of making and 3 layered bewb cube, and now I have to start shaping the puzzle and working on the mechanism.

Here's is a photo of this three tier twisty thing, and yes the layers turn:

this puzzle isn't going to be the easiest to make as I don't have a puzzle to base it off of, but I like the challenge and am going to have to look at images to help me so this should be interesting. And for any of you helpful people out there, DO NOT TELL ME THE DIMENSIONS, that will spoil the adventure of discovery.

I don’t understand how that can be possible. But I’m pretty sure it can. Can you try 3D printing a 21x21? :p
first of all, wdym mean by it not being possible? all I have to do is make it smaller that 56 mm and I'm golden! Perhaps I'll do like 25mm's to start. and then someone else can break it and then I would have started a 3d printed squan community lol.

anyway, a 21x21 would be hard, but it is possible considering someone 3d printed a 33x33. My printer probably wouldn't be able to do it. at least of them that is. I'd guestimate about 300 hours worth of designing and printing not counting failures prototypes. I have done a 3x3 tho so I'm only 30 away I guess.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but...
