Okay, I feel like I've been procrastinating a lot lately within cubing. It took me two years to become sub-1 4x4, 4 years to become sub 20 on 3x3, and everything else isn't that good. I just didn't practice that much. I just solved and learned a little here and there. Sub-10 3x3 is something I want to aim for. It seems somewhat straight forward: sub-8 f2l, full pll (done), full oll. my f2l is not at all terrible, most of the time, I can sometimes make my first pair during cross, and I limit myself to 2-3 rotations, but sometimes I mess up terribly in lookahead. So, I really have to study up on that and break some mental barriers. I also need to practice more on yellow cross cuz I always notice good yellow solutions but am not confident enough to do them. first, I'm going to learn full oll (starting today) and once I'm done, I'll see how far that's taken me (hopefully 2-3 seconds faster) and then go from there. along the way, I will also be stressing lookahead so maybe that'll shave another second off. I just want to be really good at one solid event.
