How often do you check the WCA live?

Just wondering why there's always already have the posts about WR and CR just few minutes after the results are on the WCA live, like people just check it every 5 minutes.

(Or some of them know there's a new record by the WCA live bot in X?

I don't know if there's any other way besides WCA live and the bot.)

I used to do it a lot but recently I've been learning about records form the discord servers I'm in and checking live to confirm.

except for one time when my dad was gone to get lunch so i asked luke garrett if i could check it on his phone... he was the only person id talked to so i didn't know who else to ask lol

I don't like the WCA Live Bot on twitter, @WCALive_bot, because it tweets out every NR, CR, and WR that pops up on Live. It even tweets out the errors that pop up on Live.
If we could filter out all the NRs and get only CRs and WRs it would be great, but there are just too many NRs to keep following it.

It did happen. Nobody in Nebraska does Clonk anymore so that was the third comp in a row I beat the SR single and average. Like c'mon, you would think people would just get good by now lol

I got a 3:22 today so I'm not terrible with the MGC... That was only the first try anyway

Usually every couple hours on weekends. More often if there’s famous cubers at comps, as mentioned. There’s a comp this weekend with three rounds of 4bld, three two rounds of 5bld, and three rounds of mbld and both Stanley chapel and Graham Siggins are there, so I’ve been hoping for a WR from that comp

I check probably once or twice a month, and every 15ish minutes when I am in comp.

Edit: I also check a lot when it is Nats or Worlds
