so my birthday is in 19 days! and i scrapped the idea of a gan 12 ui, question 1 : is the gan i carry s or then gan i3 better, (by performance and app) and is the gan 14 worth it? i think the edge customization is amazing, (i also hasn't looked at any non gan smart cubes so if there are some better smart cubes then tell me please)

People say the Gan 14 pops a lot and some other things and that it Is the worst 3x3 out of the 11, 12, 13, & 14 (12/11 being the best). Idk about smartcubes but there may be a video on one of those

What do you main right now? I would get a smartcube if I were you as they don’t really go out of date that much and they will help you a lot in terms of solving and improvement. If you main like a budget cube or something though then maybe get a new main

i main a gan 11 m pro and avrg 40 seconds so i'd imagine i should get smth that helps me learn

Honestly you don't need another 3x3. A gan 11m pro for 40 seconds average is crazy. I main Gan 356m/MoYu rs3m and average 15.
Edit: Maybe try a different event.

A GAN 11 M Pro for a 40 second solver? Spoiled ahh 11 year old.

GAN i Carry. And you don't need a GAN 14. If you average below 15 seconds, yeah, you might like it, but you won't need any tech in the GAN 14 as a 40 second solver. I loved and cared for my QiYi MS up until I was sub-30, and now as a 20-second solver, I use a YS3M and a WeiLong WRM 2019 interchangeably. The only non-smart GAN cubes I own are either set on fire or 8 years old (I love collecting).

I’m sub 20 and love the Qiyi ms equally as much as an 11 m pro

getting a new flash shop is probably the biggest waste of money possible. Even the GAN carry js a stretch but idk, that one could work

I think it is but its just that some people are ‘luckier’ than others.

i had a rubiks brand averaging sub 1 when I wanted a speed cube

i went for the Gan RS like an idiot but then my mum said that I could get something better If I wanted, got the 11 m pro

still main it and it took me to sub 30 within a month or two and then sub 20 after a year, including months of breaks

i know a guy who’s sub 10 with the Qiyi ms as he can’t get another cube, and some poeple cant afford these things/parents make them pay with own money/think it’s dumb like my dad

Well mate, its kinda sarcastic but there is a figment of truth within it. Nearly every cube I own I worked for, and paid for with my own cabbage, all 40 or so cubes that total about 500 dollars or 400-ish pounds. Many hours of working at my local petrol station went into those cubes.

gan 14 is not very good; gan i3 is the better of the two.

I had the iCarry, I thought it was pretty nice
Logging into the app is a little weird for the first time, but it will make sense eventually.
If you average 40 seconds, using the app to learn cfop would be good
If you are looking for another 3x3 and are set on getting one, I would say that the Tengyun V1 might be a better fit if I'm being brutally honest
I also did like the MGC Elite V1, but its discontinued now

Im 11, i cant work, Trust me, I want to, I'd do 7 hours of dog walking or paper rounds a week so my friends can stay at the lodge, Im still in denial about it, And if i couldn't get the gan 11 m for my birthday i wouldn't mind, I was actively thinking "Is this too expensive?" Ands its not like it was just a normal day, It was my birthday, And cubing is a hobby, I don\t care if i avrg 40 on a gan 11 m pro, Its fine, its sub 1 and im super happy with it,

Thank you tabe, I feel extremely validated, I believe that the gan 12 ui was a terrible idea for me, And i believe 50 pounds would be a max bingus, Does that sound like spoiling? And i would only get a smart cube to learn, And i don't even know if i want to get a cube for my birthday!

I suppose mate. I just feel like there's a desire for something way above what you need with getting a crazy expensive GAN cube. 50 pounds (60 USD or 95 AUD) is pretty decent. I was just a little surprised by your desire for a very, very expensive cube. I do agree with Tabe in that I act a bit jealous quite impulsively, and that I have the unfortunate characteristic of effectively hating anyone who is more fortunate than I am.
