so the white and yellow faces (just for clarification sake, I'm using those two colors as an example but I'm color neutral on 2x2) are the same, but the other 3 algorithms are to permute them once solved?

Yeah, you solve both faces then do 1 of 5 algs (tperm, yperm, and 3 non pll algs.)

So I'm trying to get more efficient at f2l, it takes me like 8-10 seconds to complete. Also going to practice 4x4 a lot. we'll see how it goes

Update: Just learned the 3 additional algs for PBL of ortega, so I know ortega now. averaging more like 8 because trying to get used to them but already have gotten a few 2 second solves so not bad

Just got my first successful 2x2 blindfolded solve!!! not timed yet, still learning so gonna do untimed for now but super excited!!!

I've noticed that while practicing cubing, I get obsessed with just speed solves (totally not addicted), and I dont practice new things enough, or do deliberate drills, so Im trying this video out, a method called 2-gen practice, so we'll see how it goes

Just placed this order yesterday. After this, I think I'll have some very good cubes as mains for my fav events. Also trying out 5x5! Cant wait!
