When I went to my comp, a kid had a gan cube that they were trying to sell, and I wanted something to kind of remember my first competition by, a souvenir. What's better than my first gan cube, am I right? So I bought it off the kid (for 50 bucks, didnt have any smaller bills lol). I did some research and it turns out to be the gan 11 m duo. It costs about 40 dollars, so it wasnt that bad of a deal, especially if you include shipping into the equation.
However....
It felt slightly off, so I took it apart to inspect the pieces. A corner piece was missing a magnet. I thought I would have to buy a replacement somehow.
HOWEVER it was STUCK to another core magnet! So I super glued it back in place and it's as good as new!
Only two issues:
I dont like whatever lubricant is in it. Feels like weight 5 or something, and I usually use silk and DNM-37, so its too controllable for me.
Also... I dont have a gan adjustment tool!!! Is it possible to adjust it without one, or can I buy it online? I am requesting all of your assistance.
But yes, that is my story of my first gan cube. It wont be my main, I enjoy the tornado v3 much more, but it will most likely become my OH main because it is very light.
