Even at your level, you'd probably see some improvement doing as average of 500... I think I might do a average 100 or something soon.

I think I'll do an average of 500 sometime next week.
March Break=no school ^^

EDIT: 500th post, what a coincidence :p
Does that mean I should do an average of 4769?

Yes.

And I need to do a mere average of 2385. If I get discouraged in the middle, I'll just think about how many Arnaud still has left to do. :)

lol. Have fun with that, guys.
I just did an average 50 of 2x2x2, and wow. I could literally see the improvement scanning down the list. I set a RA of 5 at 6.07, so overall, this has been a good day for me.

I'll start saturday morning at 06:00. I will only take breaks to walk my dog. No substances will enter or leave my body until I get it done

Darn, now I have to do 4773 and I still have the rest of the week to go :)

I hope you're planning to take advantage of the fact that you didn't say which Saturday. No substances entering or leaving your body? That sounds downright impossible.

Andrew Kang took about 24 hours to do significantly less cubes than this. You're not as fast as Andrew Kang. Not even close.

I guess Milán did it in 24 hours. Well, as long as you keep your post count down for the rest of the week. :)

Im going to do an average of 50 and see what happens there. Ill be talking to you guys in about 100 minutes.

Mind over matter! And those other guys just suck at marathons. They perform much worse than normal. I might actually be capable of performing my new PLL's faster and faster because of the practise.

Basically I am really considering this!

Wow, I'm impressed. Good luck! You're crazy!! (And keep in mind that's coming from me, so you know it's true.)

You're going to be a sub-20 speedcuber by the time you're finished. Wow.

Small calculation:
Scrambling: 10 seconds
Inspection: 5 seconds
Solving: 25 seconds
Amount of solves to perform: 4800
Total time needed (10+5+25)*4800 / (60*60) = 53 hours and 20 minutes
Include 15% overhead for walking the dog = 61 hours and 20 minutes
If I come home on Friday-evening at 19:00.....I can go to work on Monday at 8:20

It is still doable , AND I can do 15 more posts

Also, just 2 more posts and I will beat Milan: http://speedcubing.com/records/recs_misc_marathon24.html (well, except for the fact that he did it in 24 hours)
