8.913, 11.194, 9.539, 10.786, 9.085, (12.931), 8.888, 8.793, 9.677, 10.500, (8.341), 10.479 = 9.785 avg12 (9.119 avg5)

Finally finished what I started! Sub 10 avg12 with CFOP, Roux, ZZ and Petrus!

My first sub 10 average of 12 with each method:
CFOP 9.85 avg12
Roux 9.82 avg12
ZZ 9.83 avg12
Petrus 9.79 avg12

Previous PB was 10.08.

congratulations! i'm glad your dedication has paid off, this is really impressive :)
Thanks!

Wow! That is just incredible. Congrats! :)

So, what are you going to do now? More obscure methods? (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) :p
I'm not really sure to be honest. The current plan is to stick with Petrus for another while, but I might change my mind. I have important exams to study for this year though, so I probably won't be doing anything too interesting for another bit. :(

Do you feel like any of this has improved your CFOP?
The blockbuilding has certainly helped me get better at making xcrosses. I think I'd probably have improved faster overall if I had used all of the time to practise CFOP instead though. If you're thinking of practising Petrus to improve your CFOP, I'd recommend giving it a go, but not taking it overboard (unless you're doing it for fun, like me).

I think what you're doing goes under his definition of classic, OLL/PLL is not doing EO (which I wouldn't even quite consider Petrus)
I guess I meant edges oriented OLL then (EOLL?). I do orient all the edges before LL. I just think of it as OLL in my head.

On Petrus's website, the method is described as CP, CO and then EPLL, and he mentions several ways of combining these steps, such as COLL, ZBLL and 2GLL. OLL/PLL isn't listed, so I wasn't sure if I could call it "classic" Petrus or not. I think most Petrus users use at least some OLL/PLL in their solves though, at the very least for the sune cases.

Wouldn't that be OCLL then (though it is a subset of OLL)

Did a reconstruction because I was interested in the movecounts.

The stm figures are from after I cancelled all moves using alg.cubing.net. The etm figures include all moves (except for rotations in inspection).
