It was my first comp and I was so nervous and my hands were like shaking, and I couldn’t sleep well the night before my very first comp (pretty much didn’t sleep)
Also my skewb was sooo gummy when I was going to the stage (maybe coz I added wrong lube just before the comp), I tried to fix it and I managed to make it at least usable (and I was the last one competing in skewb and I couldn’t even compete if I got on to the stage any later)
I was able to predict the last layer in some of the solves, but my skewb was just setup badly

Also I haven’t learnt L5C yet in my first comp and that PB Ao5 was like 1 or 2 weeks after the comp where I have learnt more skewb algs already
Also I learnt like 9 3x3 PLL algs just before the comp so I didn’t have much time to practice in skewb.
My next comp will be Worlds in Korea and rly hope I can get NR maybe in 1st or 2nd round

@SkewbIsTheBestEvent I think you shd hv better skewb single as my skewb PB single is not even sub 1 (its not in the PB Ao5 tho)
Actually to me the skewb NR single shd be a lot more easier to break than skewb NR avg as the Japan skewb NR avg is the AsR set in Singapore last month, but the Japan skewb NR single is like 1.6X, which is not even WR100 and its like AsR30. even my PB4 single is sub NR.

I have never tried skewb… but seeing it seems super easy to learn, I think I wouldn’t like it. Still better than pyra though

Yeah, that takes getting used to. The one thing I don’t like, is that my skewb likes falling apart really often.

I would have said Clock but now I kind of like it. It's the only event in a long time where I've actually improved quickly (from averaging 1 minute to 15 secs in 2 weeks)
