Efficiency.
Firstly, it's so cool! Every time we look at Tymon's example solves we are always blown away by his ability to find shorter and more complex solutions.
Secondly, TPS can be practiced easily to be quite high.
I think Max averages ~13 TPS, idk what Tymon averages.
With your average 55 move CFOP solution, Max will get times of low-mid 4s.
Let's say that Tymon can save 8-10 moves on average. To average 4.5, he needs between high 9/low 10 and high 10/low 11 TPS, quite a difference!
And if he could turn at 13 TPS, that's a mid-high 3 average

Tymon style is clearly better. Hardware has definitely reached a major slowdown in gains so tps isn’t going ti get much higher. We’ve hit the point in cubing that you can’t just turn fast. If you want to be at the top and continue pushing the limit you’re gonna have to turn fast and be efficient!

Out of all their reconstructed 3x3 solves, speedcubedb says Max averages around 10.8 tps but his movecount is 58.7 turns. Tymon's average tps is 9.5, but his movecount is 53.5 turns.

So. If efficiency is key to speed in the future…

Then you should just use petrus

yes but they arent his good solves, just random ones
They're certainly not random, since they can only reconstruct solves which he posts on YouTube. This does lead to a greater amount a good solves for just about every cuber, since top cubers usually don't post average/bad times.

yea, i guess
but then what about these
there a lot more of these there
the bad solves are from monkey league, and there are a lot of those

Did you seriously just sort by slowest time, post me a picture, and use that to claim that the reconstructed solves truly reflect this average?
Edit: Also, what bad solves are from monkey league? Nothing you cited is from monkey league and the vast majority of his reconstructed times are sub-6.

i did sort by slowest time, to show you guys that there are a lot of bad solves in there
nothing in that list is monkey league, but a lot of 7's and high 6's are
