If everything is too tight, loosen the screws on the core a little.

But as mentioned above, pay very close attention to Cube Solve Hero's 4x4 assembly video:

(this section, along with the rest of it).

You have to keep building "walls" so you can slot internal pieces in, and use plenty of tape. You don't actually need to use any lube for 4x4 assembly - those who suggest it refer to the initial stages of building the core, but building a core with fingers is unnecessary if you first use the pieces to form the base.

The video I happened to make a few weeks before Cube Solve Hero's vid (which I posted earlier) also shows a very similar technique - Cube Solve Hero actually does it better, but my method was largely the same and also different to the prior techniques found on YouTube. Please excuse my caffeinated hands:

Failing all that, you might need to record a video of the section you're having specific difficulty with. Don't add any more lube - it only makes things too slippery to handle.

Yep, that's a good tutorial too. Internal pieces go in *after* a layer is in place. The rest of it is just the same process of adding pieces followed by adding internals. The very end might be a little tricky, but it's still the same and then it ends with a process that's similar to fixing a pop (taking care not to punch any internal pieces out of place).

4x4 is exactly the same process, but simpler. No need to use lube as "glue" with this method.

I was doing a 7x7 session, and an outer center piece popped out of the cube. I looked up how to fix pops on youtube but I could only really find how to reassemble and disassemble cubes, and I think disassembling my whole cube for 1 piece is a bit overkill.

Just take out some of the edges and then put the center in, its not very hard to put one center peice back in if you just pull out a couple to access the spot a little easier.

I overlubed my squan, so i decided to take it apart and wipe some of the lube off so it wouldn't be too slow.
But the screw is getting worn down from the screwdriver and is really hard to turn
I keep turning the screw clockwise to tighten it back together, but I've been at this forever
and its pointless.
don't really know what to do now.

So, here’s an unusual problem for anyone who has time to kill…
my cube fell on the floor, and a lot of tiles came out- I can’t for the life of me get it back to normal. It’s not the best cube in the world, but it’d be a shame to throw it away.
The problem is, only 20 of the tiles are removable, and the rest are stickers. I’m also unable to remove the actual pieces- when I try I can feel it breaking. Whenever I get close to putting it back, there’s always an impossible tile preventing completion.
I’ve attached photos showing the removable tiles and the state of the cube as it is.
To complicate things further, 2 middle tiles {blue and orange} are lost for ever, but I’ve made a homemade solution with tape and coloured ink.
I’m not expecting anyone has the patience to solve this, but you never know..

I would say there is no hope for the cube. It is a lost cause. What cube is it?

I don't know if there is anything u can do, I have never had a tiled cube so I wouldn't be much help. I think that the best idea is to just get a new cube...

Can someone please help me? I just got my first skewb, a yuxin little magic, and I disassembled it to lube it. I can’t get the last corner and edge piece in.
I can get the edge in on its own, but not with the center. Pls help. Ty

Put the corner in first, then figure out a layer that you can turn and also shove the edge in.

So I got a Meilong 2 2x2 and a piece slightly went out of it's place and at the time I didn't know how to reassembly it and didn't have acces to tutorials but when I correctly reassembled it it feels different and worse than before. Is anything wrong with my cube?
