Has everyone here added Speedsolving.com to their homescreen? If not, why not?

I think a useful thing would be to allow more than 520 charecters for profile posts. It's really not enough at all.
Anything longer than that should be a forum post. We much more encourage you to post on the forum and as a status. We're a community and the forum is the best place to post these things. There should be a section for almost any topic now.

what about the admin needs to approve message?
This is to prevent spam issues.

petition to add progression threads section
Per the suggestions here, I've added a Cubing Progression section here:
If you guys have ideas of how to organize it, let me know. The goal here is to encourage people to progress, to help each other progress, and to allow people to share their progression. It is always interesting to look back on progress. I encourage all members to create a thread and share their progress over time and to encourage/help others with their progress.

This is a nit-pick, but but the description should be "Create a thread and share your cubing progress over time" instead of "overtime".

Also, my thread should probably moved to that subforum.

(also potentially this thread)

Should the big Accomplishment Thread be moved there? It's kinda a progression thread

I don't put anything on my home screen so I don't get distracted when I do work. I always type speedsolving (or part of it before Firefox autofills) out of habit.

I think a 1v1 cubing challenge would be cool, I know there are other websites specially for that but here we can challenge our friends and people of this community, I have been trying to make a 1v1 thingy myself.

I suppose you could open a cubingtime room or such, and invite people from the forum/in the discord.

I think that it would be interesting to have negative reactions (eye roll, meh, angry) count against a person’s reaction score. For example, I have 113 negative reactions, so instead of having my current reaction score of 4,926, it would be 4,813. This would also make it possible for a person to have a negative reaction score.

*Cough* @LukasCubes *cough*

I don't think that angry should be one since most of the time it's just a joke like on the Pineapple debate thread. It could also be misleading like if there was a member you didn't like you could just negatively react to their posts. It would also discourage people from sharing unpopular opinions. Maybe instead of subtraction just show negative reactions along side and show the percentage compared to positive.
